Every Christian has an assignment, prepared by God. Think about the things you’re really good at, the things you like to do. God wants you to use those talents, skill, and abilities to serve Him and bring Glory to His name.
God Has A Plan For Your Life
11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
But how do we know God’s plan, and when does it start?:
As a boy growing in a small mining town in northeastern Minnesota, I did not know any of this. For me, “church” seemed to be a weekly obligation required by God. And because the church we attended emphasized rites and rituals, I knew nothing about the Bible.
Yet — I hope you will agree — God is using me for His purposes

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)
6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them… (Romans 12:6a)
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen (1 Peter 4:10~11)
9 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; (Colossians 1:9~11)
Here’s the life God has called us to:
1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:1~2)
31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)
17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:17)
